Immunisation
ACT Public Health regulations require schools to request proof of up to date immunisation when enrolling. Failure to provide this may result in your child being excluded from school should an outbreak of an infectious disease occur. A copy of exclusion periods for students with infectious diseases is available Parents are asked to adhere closely to these requirements unless medical advice to the contrary is provided in writing. Please ensure the school has an up-to-date copy of your child’s immunisation record. For further information contact the ACT Health Directorate.
Infectious Diseases
Please inform the school if your child has an infectious or contagious disease. The ACT Public Health Regulations 2000 require children with specified conditions, and children who have been in contact with the specified conditions to be excluded from school, preschool, childcare or family day care for the periods specified. Information Communication Technology (ICT)
Interactive whiteboards are installed in every teaching space and in the meeting room.
Teachers support students to develop skills and knowledge with the philosophy ofembedding technology into the curriculum so that it becomes a natural and integral part of student learning. Students are introduced to technology in a safe environment where they are taught to discriminate between relevant and irrelevant information, cite online sources and share knowledge and information respectfully using appropriate language.
All students in the ACT are provided with a SchoolsNET account, including username and password.
