Harmony Week
Harmony Week in March celebrates the cultural diversity of Australia and promotes inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging. Students participate in a range of activities focussing on cultures, countries and celebrations. Children are encouraged to wear orange or traditional dress. Families are invited to share and/or run activities to celebrate their cultures.
Head Lice
Head lice are extremely contagious, but a very normal part of school life and easily eradicated. Parents and carers can assist in the prevention and management of head lice outbreaks at school with regular checks of children’s hair. If your child does have head lice at school, you will be contacted to come and collect so that treatment can be commenced. Should an infestation of head lice occur at school, teachers will make a post about it on Class Dojo.
